24 hours 5 minutes 21 seconds | Description: This is a video recording lengthening 24-hours, in which the artist looks at the ‘photos that have nowhere to go’, collected by the artist himself. As an artifact, each of these photos must have experienced their own moments of intimacy, when viewed by their past owners. As they are exposed to the public again, the moments echoe once more, within the video, and within the viewers now. In the background, the soundscapes of people passing below the windows of KEN NAKAHASHI, ambulance sirens and street music performances spread, encompassing the ongoing lives of people shifting abundantly throughout the 24-hour cycle. 作品解説：作家によって集められた「行き場のない写真」を、24時間にわたり見届ける様子を記録した映像作品。誰かにとって一度は不要とされた写真が、再び人目に晒されることによって、写真を見ることをめぐってかつて開かれたであろう親密圏が、映像の中に、そして鑑賞者の中にこだましている。また背景では、撮影地となったKEN NAKAHASHIの眼下を行き交う人々や、救急車のサイレン音、音楽ライブの演奏などのサウンドスケープが広がり、24時間のサイクルを通じて豊かに変化する人々の生の営みを記録している。
